What I built
Designed a multi market KYC policy engine with compliant onboarding flows: consent management, retries, and assisted verification. The engine adapts verification requirements by jurisdiction, risk tier, and regulatory framework.
Delivered a version 2 verification stack: document OCR, 3D liveness and selfie checks, and device risk signals. All delivered through partner APIs.
Launched partner and admin consoles with granular role based access control and full audit trails.
Implemented secure development practices and compliance by design, improving verification results while reducing fraud risk and unit costs.
Led a group of 20+ senior engineers and specialists. Set the operating rhythm: prioritization, quality standards, incident response, and delivery cadence. Reached first revenue, set initial metrics and pricing.
